This April, North Kitsap Schools are proud to celebrate the Month of the Military Child. Nearly 2 million children in military families face unique challenges, including frequent moves and family separations. These remarkable young people demonstrate incredible strength and courage while adapting to new schools, making new friends, and supporting their families' service to our nation.
Library Media Specialists connect students with books that spark imagination, fuel curiosity, and help them see themselves in new ways. They teach digital citizenship and research skills that are essential in today’s world. They guide students in becoming thoughtful, responsible users of information—and open the door to lifelong learning.
